Ridge Hill

Ridge Hill, an “enhanced lifestyle center,” in the heart of Westchester County, offers 1.5 million square feet of retail and entertainment, office and conference space, and 1,000 units of housing. The center gets its name from the ridge that runs between the NY State Thruway and the Sprianbrook Parkway, high above the Grassy Sprain Reservoir on the Mianus River Gorge. The OvS design brands the retail center as “tony and leafy” to fit within its exclusive 250 acre New York state location. The mixed-use amenities of the site are connected with pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, a central town green, and intimate pocket parks. The design integrates year-round plantings and gardens with carefully detailed hardscape elements and dramatic fountains that convey a modern retail experience. Green space is balanced with contemporary architecture to create a graciously landscaped development that is enhanced by a modern swagger.

This project is a collaborative effort with Eric D. Groft, Landscape Architecture, D.P.C.
