OvS’ project of a nine-acre residence in McLean, Virginia Featured in Home & Design Magazine; titled “Perfect Symmetry“.

The Basil Green project, a Mediterranean-inspired “White Garden” on a hillside in McLean, Virginia, was featured in the Late Spring Issue of Home & Design magazine. The article, entitled “Perfect Symmetry: Oehme, van Sweden Imparts a Formal, European Sensibility to a Picturesque McLean Estate” by Julie Sanders, showcases OvS’ collaborative design process with the homeowners and describes its lush plantings and formal aesthetic characterized by symmetry and the use of stucco and limestone.
