Lisa Delplace Speaks at Denver ICAA

On Wednesday, October 18, CEO Lisa Delplace will present An Artful Approach: Inspirations for Shaping the Garden to the Denver Chapter of the Institute of Classical Art and Architecture (ICAA). The lecture, part of ICAA’s 2017 lecture series, will illustrate the OvS’ design aesthetic and demonstrate that no matter the size or application, the same design principles apply: effective use of positive and negative space, form and scale, light and shadow, and texture. The lecture will feature a series of built case studies that highlight how OvS uses these design principles to establish a garden’s architectural foundation and to capitalize on seasonality and time.

ICAA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the practice and appreciation of the classical tradition in architecture and the arts. ICAA fulfills its mission through four program areas: education, publications, awards, and advocacy.
