OvS Principals Go Inside the LA Studio at the 2016 ASLA Annual Meeting and Expo
OvS Principals Sheila Brady, Lisa Delplace, and Eric Groft will discuss the firm, its revolutionary history, and its approach to design at the American Society of Landscape Architects‘ (ASLA) Annual Meeting and Expo in New Orleans this weekend. The session, part of ASLA’s Inside the LA Studio series, highlights top-tier firms from across the country and is a perennial favorite among meeting attendees. The event’s intimate environment gives attendees a unique firsthand opportunity to learn how individual firms approach complex and diverse design projects.
Session moderator, Charles A. Birnbaum, FASLA, President and CEO of The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF), will delve into the principals’ 85 years of combined experience and highlight their sources of inspiration, collaboration with founding partners Jim van Sweden and Wolfgang Oehme, and showcase their latest work.Participants can earn professional development hours towards their licensure by attending the presentation. Inside the LA Studio is one of more than 130 courses, field sessions, workshops, and education sessions presented at the conference this year.
The ASLA Annual Meeting and Expo is the largest gathering of Landscape Architects and students in the world.
In 2014 OvS was presented the ASLA Landscape Architecture Firm Award at the event.
