Sara Downing Promoted to Senior Associate

OvS is honored to announce that Sara Downing has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Sara has been with OvS since 2010 and has served as a key design team member within the firm’s body of work.

Her contributions to the firm include urban design, large-scale residential, and private institutional work. She is currently managing projects nationwide, including Washington, DC’s Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, the redevelopment at 700 Penn in Washington, DC, and a multi-acre residence in Denver, CO. Sara’s leadership is also demonstrated through her mentoring of OvS’ design staff.

Sara earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. Her undergraduate, in Environmental Studies and French, was completed at Bucknell University.
