OvS teamed with Telesis Corporation on the revitalization of Robert S. Jervay Place, a HUD-HOPE VI funded redevelopment project in Wilmington, NC.  Once part of a 14-acre, disjointed collection of older and under-served communities, Jervay Place offered no connectivity to the surrounding community. OvS’ landscape program focused around an open green space in the center of the site and provided individual gardens for single-family homes.

Robert S. Jervay Place is now one of the four communities within the Jervay redevelopment. These communities, comprised of apartments, townhomes, fee simple homes, and a recreation center, are connected by outdoor areas that are flexibly programmed. Jervay Place has transformed into a walkable neighborhood with open spaces that weave into, and better connect with, the surrounding city.
