This residence in Wilton, CT, features a number of landscape elements carefully designed to complement site’s classic New England context. Early site investigations recovered old stone wall foundations that had been buried. New low stone walls were incorporated in their historic locations and also included in the new entrance circle that provided privacy from a secondary garage entrance.

Broad lawns, native and ornamental herbaceous plantings transition into the property’s terraces, swimming pool, arbor and natural woodlands. Working with the New England architecture, OvS designed the entrance gate, deer fencing and worked with the architect to site the new glass house.
