Anticipation is in the air at OvS. Much love and labor have gone into preparations for the exhibition The New American Garden: The Landscape Architecture of Oehme, van Sweden, which opens October 17th at The National Building Museum.
The museum, in collaboration with The Cultural Landscape Foundation, has assembled a wide breadth of OvS’ archival materials as part of the exhibit. Original drawings, photographs of the firm’s 40 years of garden design, inspirational artwork, and OvS-designed garden ephemera will be on display. These items have been carefully curated to illustrate the broad arc of landscape design: from inspiration and development, to implementation and the ongoing changes that are a part of a living landscape. The exhibition, the largest of its type in the museum’s history, runs through April 2016.
Many of OvS’ clients and friends have played a significant role in bringing the exhibition together. We are sincerely grateful for your support.
