The Washington Post recently featured OvS’ latest work at the National Arboretum’s Friendship Garden.

25 years after the original dedication, OvS was part of its re-dedication following a four-year revitalization process. The updated garden maintains many of the same hallmarks of the original, but now highlights a series of plant communities – groups of plant species that complement each other seasonally and botanically.

Eric Groft, OvS VP and Principal, references the garden’s importance within Adrian Higgins’ article. “[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][This garden has always been] very important because other than the Federal Reserve [garden], this was one of the early outlets people could come and understand what the New American Garden was.”
